Getting active with Parkinson’s using VR (Virtual Reality)
Do you fancy trying something a bit different?
Why not join others living with Parkinson’s to try out Virtual Reality (VR) headsets to help you get active in a friendly, supportive group setting.
The programme will assume no previous experience of using VR headsets and take class members through the basics of setting roomscale boundaries and manipulation of the hand controls up to the use of VZ fit where participants travel through Google earth generated scenery at speeds determined by the exercises undertaken.
All exercises can be done seated or standing.
Open to anyone living with Parkinson’s and their partner or carer.
Sessions will run weekly for 8 weeks.
