Gentle Movement session for people with Parkinson’s
- The gentle movement session combines movement with music, and it is a gentle way to get moving at your own pace. The 45 minute session includes a warm up, a variety of stretching, balance and coordination activities and a cool down.
- The gentle movement activity focuses on strength, balance, coordination, heart health and it’s fun too. The session can be done seated, or standing, whichever suits you best. All abilities welcome, the instructor will be able to provide more or less strenuous activities depending on your abilities.
- Eleanor is an experienced instructor and works with a wide variety of groups and will be able to adapt the session to suit the whole group. Come along and give it a go!
- The session is from 1pm - 1:45pm followed by time to chat with others over refreshments.
- Family, friends and carers are welcome.
- £3.00 per person
- No booking is required, but if it is your first time please contact us before attending.
- Comfy clothing is recommended.
- The Parson Cross Development Forum building is fully accessible, with parking at the front and side of the venue and large accessible toilets are available. There is a short walk to the end of the corridor where the activity takes place.
