Fighting Fit Cookham (Newly Diagnosed Programme)
Fighting Fit is for people newly diagnosed with Parkinson’s. The programme is designed for both people with Parkinson’s and their partners, friends, family or carers, so you can go through the programme together.
Our weekend starts at 1pm on Friday 15 May to 3.15pm on Sunday 17 May 2026.
What does the programme cover?
- A focus on the importance of physical activity and exercise and how it can help control the progression of motor symptoms and support your mental wellbeing.
- Practical tips and tricks to help manage Parkinson’s symptoms.
- Support to develop a personal plan for beyond your Fighting Fit weekend.
- Chance to meet others living with Parkinson’s, make new friends and share experiences.
The all-inclusive cost is £200 for a single place or £370 for a double place. Bursaries are available, please get in touch for more information.
This includes:
- 2 nights accommodation
- Full board, including breakfasts x2, lunches x2, evening meals x2
- Conference facilities
- Full Fighting Fit programme fee
- Tea and coffee during breaks

We will give priority to applications if:
- this is the first time you have attended a Fighting Fit weekend
- you live in the south-east of the UK in Kent, Sussex, Surrey, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Hampshire or the Isle of Wight.
