Faringdon Friendship and Memories Cafe

A social cafe where guests enjoy a social time, refreshments, and table activities such as crafts, quizzes, word searches, jigsaws, bingo, and dementia-friendly games and activities.

Run by Home Instead Charities, and the local volunteers from Home Instead Swindon & Vale of White Horse.

Guests from local organisations supporting older people will attend to share helpful information.

The last half hour is a sing-a-long with nostalgic favourite tunes to lift the spirits.

All welcome to this free group for a cuppa, good company, helpful talks, and fun activities with a sing-a-long. Birthdays are celebrated, and there is a raffle.

For older people, those living with a condition (including dementia), and their family and carers.

Transport is available for those who cannot otherwise attend. Please contact Cat for more information using the details below.

Free parking at Faringdon United Church.

Free of charge activity, but a suggested donation of £2 per guest is welcomed to cover costs of the group.
