Diss and Eye Social Meeting

Small, friendly and informal group. Anyone affected by Parkinson’s is welcome, including relatives, carers and partners.

Normally we have a speaker, but we try to ensure that not all speakers are about Parkinson’s. Topics have ranged from travel behind the Iron Curtain (as it was), line judging at Wimbledon, and wild flower identification to name but a few, as well as numerous Parkinson’s related topics.

Here are the speakers planned so far for 2025:

  • January - David Young, Diss folk songs
  • February - Beetle Drive
  • March - Ed Smith, Auctioneer
  • April - Marilyn Turner, Parkinson's nurse
  • May - Phil, Alaska

Ring, email or just turn up on the day.

Cost to attend is £5 per person, including tea/coffee and biscuits.
