 Various Activities suitable for people with Parkinson's at Dimension's Leisure Centre

Move 4 Health- Level 1 and 2 chair-based exercise offers an accessible form of exercise to those individuals requiring adaptations due to health and mobility limitations. Exercises can be performed seated or a mixture of seated and standing. Helps to improve strength, mobility and balance and is suitable for falls prevention and medical rehabilitation.

Mondays 1:30-2.30pm with Jon Scragg.  
Wednesdays and Friday 10-11am with Jon Scragg
Costs £3.20 or free with monthly membership

Lifestyle Circuit- A low impact exercise class working on cardiovascular fitness, core strength and co-ordination. Mixes aerobic, body weight and mobility exercise without the use of a chair for support.

Tuesdays at 9:30 with Jon Scragg

Walking Pace Sessions- Our walking pace sessions are designed to include all the enjoyment of taking part in your chosen activity but at a modified walking pace. Sessions include; Walking Netball, Walking Football, New Age Curling and New Age Bowls. Players of any ability and fitness level are welcome to take part. All sessions take place indoors so please wear loose comfortable clothing and appropriate footwear such as sports shoes/trainer.
