Derby Working Age Group (sQuad)

The Derby Working Age Group (sQuad) is an informal support group for younger people of working age with a diagnosis of Parkinson's.

We organise a monthly meeting on the first Saturday of the month on the 1st floor at St Peter's Centre, Derby, DE1 1SN, from 11am to 12.15pm. It's an informal get together offering information, friendship and support, to local people of working age affected by Parkinson’s.

Location

St Peter’s Centre is strategically placed within St Peter’s Quarter, in the heart of the city centre of Derby. We are adjacent to the Intu Centre and near to the Cathedral Quarter and River lights, which overlooks the River Derwent; the river banks continue to be opened up further to ensure that more people can enjoy this special aspect of city centre life.

We enjoy excellent transport links, Derby Bus Station is a 5 minute walk away; Derby Train Station is a 10 minute walk away and Nottingham East Midlands Airport is 25 minutes drive away

The first meeting is free and thereafter £2 to help cover costs.
