DBS Meet and Chat

Wherever you are on your journey - pre-referral, referral stage, or already living with DBS - you are welcome to join us. It's an informal space to ask questions, share experiences, and connect with others who've been there or are going through it right now.

When and where:
We meet every other month at the Roundhouse Bar and Café, Chalk Farm Road, Camden, NW1 8EH.

Our next meeting is on Monday 7 December, 5.30pm to 6.30pm.

Further sessions planned for February and April (dates to be confirmed).

The session runs straight into our regular London Working Age Parkinson's Meet-up, so if you'd like to stay on and meet the wider group afterwards, you are welcome to.

What this group is:

  • A peer support space, led by people with lived experience of DBS
  • Somewhere to ask honest questions and hear real experiences
  • Open to anyone considering, preparing for, or living with DBS

What this group isn't:

  • A clinical or medical service - no healthcare professionals present
  • Advice on whether DBS is right for you
  • An endorsement of, or campaign for, DBS as a treatment

If you are not sure whether DBS is right for you, your Parkinson's specialist team is the best place for medical guidance - this group is simply about the company and perspective of others who've walked a similar path.
