Dance for Parkinson's

This is a gentle dance class that is open to all people living with Parkinson’s and their carers & families.  The aim of the dance class is to encourage mobility, balance, range of movement and also the pure enjoyment of movement.

The class hopes to develop a sense of community and belonging in a supportive environment.  We encourage participants to attend with a carer, friend, or family member wherever possible.

Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes that you can move in and bring a water bottle, if you wish.  Tea and coffee will be available at the Albany after every class.

There will be a seated option for all of the class.  Walkers and wheelchairs are welcome.

The Albany theatre is fully accessible.  There is a multi storey car park 100m from the Albany Theatre; entrance on Butts road (pay on exit). There are also limited parking spaces directly in front of the building (pay and display).

Please visit www.albanytheatre.co.uk for more information.

Please note, if you are interested in singing, there is a also weekly group for wellbeing, that runs right before our class, called ‘Albany sings’ every Tuesdays from 10-11am at the Albany theatre.

Please book tickets for the class via The Albany Theatre.  The cost is £5 per person; carers attend free.
