Cuppa and Chat

Cuppa and Chat is a friendly, informal space for people living with long-term conditions, as well as their friends, family and carers. The sessions are organised and run by Jo Brooks from Shropshire Neuro Physio (Neuro Physio, Health Coach and PD Warrior Licensee) and Bright Gurupira, Managing Director of Right at Home Telford, a private homecare provider supporting people across Telford and Wrekin.

The idea for the sessions was born after we realised that we were hearing similar challenges coming up for our
clients time and again, regardless of the nature of their condition, disease or disability. We also noticed that these challenges rarely had a dedicated space where they could be voiced and shared.

Each month, we'll explore a different theme, share experiences, learn from one another and discover practical
ideas to help us live well with a long-term condition. There's no pressure to speak or share, just come along for a cuppa, a chat and some friendly company.

Our aim is to create a welcoming space where people feel heard, supported and able to connect with others who may understand some of the challenges of living with a long-term condition.

Everyone is welcome, whether you live with a long-term condition yourself, support someone else or simply want to find out more.

The meeting is free to attend, and refreshments are provided, but we request that you book a spot to help us with planning and logistics.

Please use this link to go to Eventbrite, where you can book your spot.
