Creative Wellbeing Walks in Nature

Join us for a series of social workshops designed to boost happiness and connection.

These free sessions blend the restorative power of walking outdoors in nature with the flowing, meditative movements of Tai Chi. It’s more than just an exercise class; it’s a friendly gathering where you can breathe, move, and enjoy the company of others.

The new sessions are being supported by Parkinson's UK and aim to help more local people with Parkinson's to get active in a fun and creative way. They can help improve balance, strength and cardiovascular health.

The new project is being delivered by trained instructors from World Women Wellbeing and will run from April to July, with the emphasis on helping more people to live well in the spring and summer months.

Anyone with a link to Parkinson's is welcome to take part in the sessions, including carers and relatives, and no previous experience of outdoor exercise or Tai Chi is required. Men and women are both welcome.

Participants are recommended to wear appropriate and comfortable active wear and non-slip footwear, and to bring a bottle of water and any necessary medication or snacks if required.

The workshops are completed with a 20 minute tea and chat.

The access to the Bradbury Makers Shed in Hillsborough Park can also be accessed from Middleton Road.

We encourage email or phone call bookings for a group of 10 members per workshop. For more information, please get in touch.
