Crawley Flamingoes Swimming Club

Crawley Flamingoes Swimming Club meets every Tuesday evening at K2 Leisure Centre to enable people (18+) with disabilities to swim within a safe and secure environment.

The club has access to the main pool (1.85m) between 7.45pm and 8.45pm for confident swimmers.

We also have access to the shallow pool (1.2m) between 8pm and 8.45pm for members learning to swim or wanting to exercise by walking across the pool.

• Both pools are covered by Life Guards provided by the K2 Leisure Centre.
• Entry into and exit from both pools is either by using the poolside steps or an electric hoist operated by fully trained K2 Leisure Centre Life Guards.
• The club is totally non-competitive; swimmers develop at their own pace and set their own challenges. Eg achieving a half width / full width without stopping etc.
• Membership cost is currently £25 per annum to cover our “Public Liability Insurance”.
• Please remember to bring a pound coin (refundable) for the changing room locker.
