Cold Water Dipping
A Chill course is an 8-week outdoor wellbeing programme designed to boost physical and mental health through safe, supportive cold-water dipping.
Over the 8 week, you’ll cover :
- Learn about the sea - safety around tides, waves, weather, moon phases and rip current
- Understand the benefits - how cold water supports mential health, resilience, circulation and overall wellbeing.
- Build confidence in the water - gradual, coached exposure to cold sea swimming (under 15C)
A typical Session includes the following.
Welcome Chat
Learning session on the beach
Warm up exercises
Into the water we go (5 - 20 mins depends on sea temp/conditions)
Get out and get dressed quickly
Hot Drinks and cake !
- connect with others - shared experience with a friendly group, creating a strong sense of community
Our trained coaches and lifeguard guide you through each step, ensuring you’re safe, supported, and warm afterwards — with lots of encouragement along the way.
