Coffee Morning - Jurassic PARKlife

We're Jurassic PARKlife, an informal group of people with early onset Parkinson’s, who get together with the aim of offering mutual support and sharing information to help with living with Parkinson's.

Join us for our bi-monthly, coffee morning at the Conservative Club, Weymouth, where you can engage in conversation, laughter, friendship and mutual support. Occasionally speakers will be invited to offer information and expertise that is current and relevant to those with Parkinson's and their friends and family.

There's no cost to attend.

Upcoming meeting dates:

  • Friday 22 May, 10.30am to 12 noon
  • Friday 24 July, 10.30am to 12 noon, including a Stretch and Balance taster session
  • Friday 25 September, 10.30am to 12 noon, including tapping technique for anxiety

Other meetings and activities:

We also meet bi-monthly on Thursday evenings, at The Famous Old Spa Pub, Weymouth. We're hoping this gives the opportunity for people with Parkinson's who may be working an opportunity to get together. For more information, please visit this page.

We also organise regular fun activities at local centres to keep moving and enjoying life, and try to introduce members to various activities available and easily accessible in the area, ranging from yoga, balance, boxercise, walking football, choir, swimming, cardiovascular workouts, speech therapy, and psychological therapies for acceptance, anxiety and confidence issues, and social events.
