Carers' support information event

Caring for someone with Parkinson's? You might be a family member, a partner, or a friend proving care and support to someone with Parkinson's.

This information event aims to provide answers to some of the questions you may have about your caring role, what support is available and how you can look after yourself. 

The event will include talks on key topics including:

• Carers assessments
• Lasting Power of Attorney
• Westmorland & Furness Carer Support services
• Carers counselling 

Information stands will include:

• Kendal and District Parkinson's Support Group
• Age UK South Cumbria
• Care providers: Westmorland Care and Home Instead
• Your Parkinson's UK Local Adviser
• Carer Support South Lakes
• Social prescribers

Your loved ones living with Parkinson's are really welcome to join us too.
