Barker Martial Arts - Golden Eagles Club

The Golden Eagles Club is a low-impact, martial arts program specifically designed for those aged 55+ and people who may struggle with mobility.

It is held at Claygate Martial Arts Centre, with a focus on gentle movements and techniques, that enhance physical and mental well-being.

Focusing on improving mobility, balance, strength and cognitive ability using our martial art - Han Guk Mu Sool, which is a traditional Korean Martial Art.

It is suitable for everyone - no experience of martial arts is necessary.

If you'd like to try a class please get in contact and we can arrange that for you. Carers are welcome to join in. We also have a cafe (currently open until 12pm) and seating area.

Wear comfortable clothing for exercise, such as joggers/leggings and a t-shirt. Bring a water bottle and we also train in bare feet.

There are stairs up to the main entrance but we do have another entrance with wheelchair access - please let us know in advance, so we can help.

The cost is £49 per month by direct debit, for one class per week.
