Baildon Parkinson's Support Group

Baildon Parkinson’s Support Group welcomes everybody affected by Parkinson’s, whether you've been diagnosed with Parkinson’s or are a carer, family member or friend. No advance booking is required, you are welcome to turn up.

Our monthly meetings are very sociable. There is always time for a drink, biscuits and a chat, but we usually have a speaker or activity arranged. Some of these are directly related to Parkinson’s – such as someone from Carers Resource, an Occupational Therapist, seated dance, or Specialist Parkinson’s Nurse. On other occasions, our meetings take a purely social theme – such as crafts or singing. You don't have to join the activities and are welcome to sit and watch if you prefer. We enjoy occasional parties (especially at Christmas) and some outings in summer.

The access to Baildon Community Link is level and there are accessible toilets.

We send out a monthly newsletter with details of upcoming activities – mostly by email, but we post to those that do not use email. Please get in touch for more information.
