Adaptive tennis

Various tennis and adaptive tennis activities are available. The sessions will be indoors, inside a hall at Alwoodley Tennis Club. There are also outdoor tennis courts available where we can deliver cardio tennis activities.

There will be 3 main coaches delivering the sessions, Jamie, the head coach and then Cameron and Mark. All three coaches are fully qualified tennis coaches.

These sessions are open to all abilities and will focus on the tennis skills and adaptive activities that would be played within a normal tennis environment. The sessions aim to be fun, competitive and helpful in a physically active way. There will be activities that look at balance, power, mobility, accuracy and cardiovascular endurance within our sessions. All of the activities can be done seated.

Carers, family members and partners are able to come along to the sessions and are encouraged to join in, with either our adaptive tennis or cardio tennis activities.
