Adaptive Personal Training - Tunbridge Wells
RMR Rehabilitation provides specialist Adaptive Personal Training for people living with Parkinson's. Our mobile service allows us to deliver one-to-one exercise sessions in your own home, local gym, studio or another location that suits your needs.
Every programme is individually tailored to help improve or maintain strength, balance, mobility, confidence and independence, while supporting you to achieve your own personal goals.
Our Aim and Mission
Our mission is to provide safe, evidence-informed exercise programmes that empower people living with Parkinson's to stay active, maintain independence and improve their quality of life.
We understand that everyone's Parkinson's journey is different, which is why every session is adapted to your individual needs, abilities and goals.
Our Trainers
Our trainers are experienced exercise professionals who are fully insured, enhanced DBS checked and committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred support.
Each trainer featured within the Parkinson's UK Local Services Directory has completed the Adaptive Fitness Training (AFT) Parkinson's Pro course or holds an equivalent Parkinson's-specific exercise qualification, and is registered with CIMSPA (Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity), demonstrating an ongoing commitment to professional standards and continuing professional development.
Where appropriate, our trainers work collaboratively with physiotherapists, Parkinson's nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure exercise complements the wider management of your condition.
All RMR trainers also work within the RMR Medical-Legal Framework, promoting professional communication, safeguarding, clear record keeping and collaborative working with healthcare professionals where appropriate.
