Active United, Parkinson's Playmakers

Walking Football is a gentle, inclusive version of the game designed to support people living with Parkinson’s. It focuses on fun, fitness, and friendship—without the need to run or tackle.


What to Expect:
Slow-paced, non-contact football sessions
Supportive, beginner-friendly environment
Activities tailored to improve balance, coordination, and confidence
Social interaction before and after sessions

Entry Level & Accessibility:
No football experience is needed. Sessions are led by trained coaches and adapted to suit individual needs. Everyone is welcome, and carers or family members can often join in or support.
What to Bring:

Comfortable sportswear (e.g. t-shirt, tracksuit bottoms)
Supportive trainers with good grip
Water bottle
Any personal medication or walking aids if needed

Why Join?
Walking Football can help improve mobility, boost mood, and reduce feelings of isolation. It’s a great way to stay active and connect with others in a safe, welcoming space.

Limited parking available, Onsite cafe ( E6 Kitchen) available for food, refreshments and social interactions.
