Active Together

Lincoln City Foundation deliver an exercise programme specifically for people living with Parkinson’s called Active Together. Sessions are held every Friday from 11am-12pm in the Co-Op Community Hub which is located at the LNER Stadium.

Exercise has been proven to improve the mental and physical wellbeing of people living with Parkinson’s. The programme will focus on building participants’ muscle and bone strength, flexibility and joint mobility while also reducing the risk of falls and lowering stress levels. Sessions will also aim to build a community for people living with Parkinson’s, with refreshments and social time available after the exercises.

The exercises will be led by instructors who have completed the Parkinson’s UK physical activity and training course.

Sessions are £2, with funding provided by Parkinson's UK.
