Accessible Cycling (Halesworth)

BANS promotes cycling as a gentle exercise within a beautiful rural environment, benefiting both physical and mental well-being and combating social isolation.

We provide adapted cycling for adults with differing needs, carefully matching cycles to each client's needs. Our range of adaptive bikes means we can cater to a wide range of disabilities.

Numerous physical health advantages of cycling include better cardiovascular health, increased muscle strength and endurance, and improved joint mobility—all of which are especially beneficial for people with disabilities.

Advance booking is strongly advised; we provide cycle helmets and hi-vis tabbards. Attendance is free but a £5 voluntary donation is welcomed.

We encourage partners/carers to attend and join in the activity if they wish.

Details of the wide range of cycles available along with more details about sessions, parking, etc. are available on our website.
