Park Yoga - Dorchester
Park Yoga offers free community yoga in nature on Sunday mornings between May to September at various locations across the country.
Our sessions are aimed at beginners and are very inclusive for people with different health conditions. Some of our participants lie on their mats in 'savasana' (a relaxed state) for the whole hour and that's absolutely fine, we just want our participants to be outdoors in nature. Some people bring a chair and do the movements on their chair - that's absolutely fine too.
- Participants are advised to bring a yoga mat, blanket or towel, some water and a hat/sun screen if it's hot.
- No booking is required - people just turn up on the day. Everyone is welcome. Children under 18 have to be accompanied by an adult.
- Sessions are cancelled very occasionally in heavy rain - please check the venue’s Facebook page or website, where a post will be shared 1 hour before the class if this is the case.
