Local group meetings are regular get togethers where you'll be able to meet other people affected by Parkinson's. Here you'll find mutual support where you can chat, socialise and relax, often with a cup of tea or slice of cake in hand. Lots of local groups also offer a range of other activities including chances to get active, scroll down this page to see what other opportunities this group offers.

More about our group

We are urgently looking for a treasurer, if you have experience of book keeping or accountancy and are interested in volunteeering we would be very pleased to have a chat about what is expected of the volunteer. Call Kate on 0344 225 3613

Sevenoaks Branch offers members the opportunity to meet in a number of ways and in two venues within the town and at one other venue in the local area.

Three activities now take place in one venue.  Our weekly exercise classes help with movement, as do the twice monthly bowls sessions.   Our monthly meeting, which usually has a speaker, enables members to talk and socialise.   A monthly coffee morning held at two venues affords a more leisurely interaction.

The branch is run by local volunteers, all of whom have experience of Parkinson’s.   Our programme includes fundraising activities as well as annual events such as a New Year Lunch, a visit to a Garden Centre and a Quiz.   SPLASH, our bi-monthly newsletter sent by snail mail enables members to catch up on forthcoming events and Parkinson’s information.

Do contact us – we are a very friendly branch!

This group is run by volunteers, we are always interested in hearing from people who may like to find out more about volunteering at a local group activity.
